Vittorio Emanuele II
The national monument to Vittorio Emanuele II is the Vittoriano, also called Altare Della Patria, is a national monumental complex located in Piazza Venezia in Rome, on the north side of the Colle Campidoglio. It is the work of architects Ettore Ferrari, Pio Piacentini and Giuseppe Sacconi.
Circus Maximus
Circus Maximus is an ancient Roman circus, dedicated to horse racing, built in Rome. It is located in the valley between Palatino and Aventino. It is remembered as the location of games from the very beginning of the history of the city: in the valley happened the mythical abduction of the sabines, in occasion of the games called by Romulus in honor of the god Consus.
